Chiappa SAA 1873-22 .22 LR 4.75" 6-Round Revolver

The Chiappa SAA 1873-22 is a single action revolver in .22 LR rimfire, modeled on the 1873 Single Action Army and intended for plinking, target practice and small game hunting. Its steel frame, cylinder and barrel are blued, with an exposed hammer, a blade front sight and wood grips.

The revolver has a 4.75-inch barrel and a 10.25-inch overall length, and weighs about 2.2 pounds (35.20 ounces). It holds six rounds and has a medium frame. There is no safety, and the single action design requires the hammer to be cocked before each shot.

The SAA 1873-22 is chambered for readily available .22 LR ammunition, which keeps practice and range costs low compared with centerfire loads.
