Description
The Chiappa 1874 Sharps Down Under is a single shot rifle built on a falling block action and chambered in .45-70 Government. It is designed for shooters who want a traditional big-bore single shot with consistent ignition and reliable extraction.
Its carbon steel components are CNC machined, and the rifle has a 34-inch barrel, an overall length of 51 inches, and a weight of 12.3 pounds. The half cock hammer provides a positive resting position between shots, and the double adjustable set trigger allows a light, crisp release.
The rifle is finished in blue with color case hardening on select components and has a checkered walnut stock with a patchbox. It holds one round at a time.
