Chiappa Firearms 1892 Trapper Carbine 45 Colt 16" Lever Action Rifle

Chiappa Firearms 1892 Trapper Carbine Features The Chiappa Firearms 1892 Trapper Carbine is a faithful reproduction of John M. Browning s original 1892 lever action design built using modern CNC machining for precision metal parts. The 16 inch blued barrel is paired with a color case hardened receiver giving the rifle the classic two-tone appearance collectors associate with late 1800s lever guns. An 8 round tubular magazine under the barrel feeds 45 Colt ammunition quickly through the action making repeat shots straightforward in the field or on a cowboy action course. The rifle s components are interchangeable with original Winchester parts a detail that speaks to the accuracy of Chiappa s reproduction. Furniture on this carbine is hand oiled and hand polished walnut fitted to the metal for a tight traditional wood to metal fit that enhances both the rifle s handling and its appearance. A fixed front blade sight is paired with a short buckhorn rear sight that adjusts for windage and elevation giving shooters the ability to fine tune their point of impact. The hammer features a half cock safety position for safer carry and handling between shots. Weighing in at 6 pounds and measuring 40.6 inches overall this 1892 Trapper Carbine offers classic lever action handling for hunters and sport shooters seeking a dependable authentically styled rifle.
