Description
The Chip McCormick Match Grade 1911 Officer magazine is a stainless steel magazine built for the 1911 Officer pistol chambered in 45 ACP. It is a traditional USGI-style design with changes to the follower, feed lip geometry, and materials.
The magazine holds 7 rounds and is made from stainless steel with a silver stainless finish. Die-controlled tolerances are held to plus or minus .001 inch. The springs are made from aerospace-grade wire, and the viewing holes are numbered to show round count at a glance. The base plate is welded.
The tube has a metal follower and a heavy-duty spring intended to maintain tension over repeated use. The magazine is sold for 45 ACP only.
