The CMC Products Power Mag is an 8-round stainless steel magazine chambered for .45 ACP and built to fit the 1911 Government pistol. It is intended for shooters who want a durable replacement or spare magazine for a 1911-pattern handgun.
The magazine has a black matte fluoropolymer finish and a stainless steel body. Its all-steel follower is designed to present a low bearing surface, which the manufacturer states supports longer service life and reliable feeding in dirty conditions. The follower also acts as a spring, allowing the Rocket wire spring coils to be larger than those in many other extra-capacity .45 ACP 1911 magazines.
