The CMC Products Power Mag Shooting Star is a 10-round stainless steel magazine for 1911 Government pistols chambered in .38 Super. It is designed for full-size 1911 handguns and is built as a heavy-duty replacement or spare magazine for regular use.
The magazine is made from stainless steel with a silver stainless finish. Its all-steel follower has a low bearing surface intended to reduce friction and wear, and the follower doubles as a spring. The Rocket wire spring coils are described as the largest of any extra-capacity 1911 magazine in the side-to-side, front-to-back, and top-to-bottom dimensions.
