Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT 7mm Backcountry 20" Bolt Action Rifle

Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT Features The Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT pairs a 416R stainless steel barrel with an Aerograde carbon fiber wrap cutting weight while preserving the rigidity needed for consistent accuracy shot after shot. The barrel is button rifled and hand lapped with a free floating match grade chamber and it is threaded 5/8x24 to accept the included removable stainless steel side baffle brake for recoil management. A TriggerTech trigger gives the shooter a clean adjustable break while the precision machined Christensen Arms receiver is compatible with standard Rem 700 optics bases for straightforward scope mounting. The internal magazine holds 4 rounds with an aluminum hinged floor plate and the enlarged ejection port spiral fluted bolt and improved bolt release all speed up cycling in the field. The FFT carbon fiber stock finished in Sage Brush Drift is built with a sporter profile and reinforced with carbon fiber bedding pillars and spot bedding for a stable repeatable bedding surface. An enlarged aluminum bolt knob makes the action easier to run with gloves on or in cold weather and a recoil pad helps absorb felt recoil from the 7mm Backcountry cartridge during extended practice sessions. The combination of a carbon wrapped barrel and carbon fiber stock keeps the overall rifle light enough for long backcountry carries without sacrificing the stiffness needed for precision shooting. For hunters chasing game at distance across rugged terrain the Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT delivers a purpose-built lightweight precision package.
