Description
The Cimarron 1878 Coach Gun is a side-by-side, break-action double-barreled shotgun modeled on the sidehammer scatterguns used in the Old West for hunting and personal defense. Its exposed sidehammers, pistol grip stock and schnabel forearm reflect that historical design.
The gun is chambered for 12 gauge 3-inch shotshells and has 20-inch blued steel barrels, giving it an overall weight of about 8 pounds. It has a blued receiver, a brass bead front sight and two triggers. Capacity is 2 rounds.
The 1878 Coach Gun is intended for shooters who want a traditional break-action 12 gauge in a period-style configuration.
