CIVIVI Shawka Fillet 5.81" Folding Knife 14C28N Blade

Civivi Knives Shawka Features The Civivi Shawka is built around a 5.8 inch blade made from 14C28N steel a Swedish powder steel known for its combination of corrosion resistance and fine edge retention qualities especially valuable for a knife regularly exposed to fish water and salt. The blade carries a satin finish which not only looks clean but also helps resist the buildup of residue during repeated fillet work. As a folding fillet knife the Shawka offers the long flexible blade length needed to make smooth continuous cuts along a fish s spine or skin a task that is difficult with a shorter fixed blade knife. The nested liner lock mechanism secures the blade firmly in the open position giving the user confidence during repetitive cutting motions near their fingers. The handle is finished in a Silver and Blue aluminum construction a lightweight and corrosion resistant material well suited to wet outdoor environments like a boat deck or riverbank. Aluminum handles also clean easily after fish cleaning sessions resisting the odor retention that can affect wood or certain synthetic handles over time. This knife ships with a black nylon sheath providing a safe way to store and transport the folded or open knife without risking injury or damage to the blade edge. The Civivi Shawka is a well suited tool for anglers who want a dedicated high quality folding fillet knife for regular use on the water.
