The CMC Triggers Single Stage Flat Drop-In is a self-contained AR-15 trigger group designed for competition and precision shooting. It installs as a complete drop-in unit, so no fitting of individual fire control parts is required. The trigger is a single-stage design with a nominal pull weight of 2.5 pounds and a crisp break with no perceptible creep before hammer release.

The critical sear engagement surfaces are machined by a proprietary process that the manufacturer states yields a 1-2 RMS surface finish, compared with 32 RMS or rougher for EDM-finished surfaces. The manufacturer also states that sear engagement overlap is greater than competing designs. The trigger is made of steel and finished in black.
