Description
The CMC Triggers Low Profile Gas Block is a one-piece gas block for AR-15 rifles, designed to sit inside most free-float handguards. Its low, narrow profile lets a rifle-length forearm be used on a carbine-length barrel, giving a cleaner, streamlined look with an added gripping surface.
The block is machined from 17-4PH stainless steel, weighs 0.66 oz, and has a black nitride finish. It attaches to the barrel with dual hex head setscrews included with the unit. It is designed for barrels with a 0.750 in diameter at the gas port, which covers most standard carbine barrels. It will not fit heavy bull barrels or pencil-profile lightweight barrels.
It is listed for AR-15 and LR-308 carbine barrels and is chambered for 223 Remington, 5.56x45mm NATO, 308 Winchester, and 7.62x51mm NATO.
