Cobalt Kinetics CK-Pro Urg 16" Stripped Upper Flat Dark Earth

Cobalt Kinetics CK-Pro Urg Stripped Upper Features The Cobalt Kinetics CK-Pro Urg starts life as an aluminum upper receiver machined to the tolerances that define the company s complete rifle platforms. Rather than relying on outside contract manufacturing Cobalt Kinetics builds and function tests every URG in house before it ships giving builders confidence that the receiver will run true once a bolt carrier group and barrel are installed. The 16 inch overall length positions this upper for a mid length or rifle length gas system build matching common AR-15 configurations without forcing a nonstandard gas block location. Choosing a stripped receiver group over a complete upper lets a builder select their own barrel handguard and bolt carrier group to match a specific performance goal. The Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish is applied over the aluminum receiver for a durable corrosion resistant exterior that also coordinates with a wide range of furniture and coating choices already common on tan and FDE builds. Aluminum keeps the upper light relative to steel alternatives which matters on a rifle intended for extended carry or precision work. Because the receiver ships stripped it is suited to shooters who already have a barrel bolt carrier group and handguard on hand or who want full control over every component in the build. The Cobalt Kinetics CK-Pro Urg gives AR enthusiasts and home builders a gunsmith-tested foundation to upgrade an existing rifle with genuine Cobalt Kinetics engineering.
