CobraTec Gideon Hidden Release Folding Knife Red/Black

CobraTec Knives Gideon Hidden Release Features The CobraTec Gideon Hidden Release carries a 3 inch drop point blade made from D2 steel a tool steel known for its excellent edge retention under repeated use. At a Rockwell hardness of 64 the blade resists wear and holds a sharp edge through extended cutting tasks. A 0.11 inch blade thickness adds strength to the drop point profile keeping the tip durable for piercing and utility cuts alike. The automatic opening mechanism uses a Kinetic Locking System to lock the blade open securely once deployed. The hidden release mechanism sits nestled seamlessly within the bolster giving the knife a clean mysterious look while keeping the activation point discreet and easy to find by feel. A CNC machined 6061 T6 aluminum handle in red and black keeps the knife light in the pocket without giving up structural strength. The black steel pocket clip is set up for right hand carry keeping the knife secure and quickly accessible when needed. At 7.5 inches overall the CobraTec Gideon Hidden Release is a high performance folding companion built for everyday cutting needs and more demanding situations alike.
