Cold Steel Recon M1 Tanto Folding Knife 4" CPM MagnaCut Plain Edge

Cold Steel Recon M1 Features The Cold Steel Recon M1 Tanto features a 4 inch tanto blade machined from CPM MagnaCut steel a modern powder metallurgy steel prized for its blend of edge retention toughness and corrosion resistance. The blade carries a satin finish and a plain edge and Cold Steel notes that MagnaCut s composition makes the blade far simpler to sharpen than many high performance steels. The tanto blade shape offers a strong reinforced tip well suited to piercing and hard use tasks. A 5.5 inch handle keeps the overall knife at 9.38 inches open giving users a full confident grip without excessive bulk in the pocket. The handle is built from black textured G10 a fiberglass laminate material that provides a durable no slip grip even when wet or under stress. Cold Steel s patented Tri-Ad locking mechanism secures the blade open during use providing a robust reliable lockup that resists blade play and accidental closure. An integrated clip-up pocket clip allows for convenient secure everyday carry. Hand crafted in Italy and weighing 5.2 ounces the Recon M1 Tanto adds a seriously tactical variation to the existing Recon lineup for users who want a hard use folder with premium steel and handle materials.
