Description
The Cold Steel Hide Out is a fixed blade neck knife built for carrying compactly while retaining substantial cutting capability. Its 3-inch spear point blade is a double-edged design, and the blade is made from solid AUS-8A stainless steel. A Scandi grind carries the primary bevel all the way to the cutting edge, which the manufacturer describes as producing an extremely sharp edge.
The knife uses a full tang construction for added strength, and the handle is coated with Griv-Ex for grip. The overall length is 6.5 inches and the weight is 1.9 ounces. The satin black finish and flat, slim profile are intended to keep the knife low-profile under clothing.
