Description
The Cold Steel Kobun is a lightweight fixed blade knife with a Tanto-style point, designed as a compact boot or utility knife. The blade is made from AUS-8A stainless steel and has a polished finish. Its reinforced Tanto point carries the full thickness of the blade spine almost to the tip, which makes it more resistant to bending or breaking than thin-pointed boot knives. The overall length is 9.88 inches and the knife weighs 4.4 ounces.
The handle is Kraton with deep checkering. Its cross section is kept thin to reduce bulk, then contoured to resist turning or shifting in the hand. The knife is black and comes complete with a Secure-Ex sheath.
