Colt Detective Special .32 Colt New Police 2" 6-Round Revolver

This Colt Detective Special is a classic six-shot, double-action snub-nose revolver introduced in 1927, as a compact, shortened derivative of the Police Positive Special on Colt's D-frame. Designed primarily for plainclothes detectives and undercover officers, it features a 2-inch barrel, fixed sights, and a swing-out cylinder, offering excellent concealability while delivering reliable accuracy and manageable recoil with the milder .32 cartridge. Produced through several series until the mid-1990s, this chambering was particularly valued in earlier production runs for its balance of power, control, and discreet carry suitability in law-enforcement and personal defense roles. This revolver is in excellent overall condition, with a social security number scratched on the frame.
