This Colt Detective Special is a compact double-action revolver chambered in the less common .32 Colt New Police cartridge. Based on serial number B44399, this revolver was manufactured in 1971. This example appears to retain an attractive blued finish with handling wear consistent with age and use. The factory checkered wood grips remain in place and show light wear with a small crack and a small dent, while the metal finish exhibits light marks.
