Description
The Colt 1911 Classic Government is a full-size, single-action semi-automatic pistol chambered in 45 ACP, built on the 1911 platform. It is a modern tribute to the Commercial Government Model pistols of the past, with a matte stainless steel finish and a silver color.
The pistol has a 5-inch barrel, a 7-round capacity, and a weight of 2.19 pounds. It uses a Series 70 firing system and rollmarks, a National Match barrel, staked-on front sights, and a spurred hammer. The sights are fixed contrast.
The 1911 Classic is a straightforward 1911 design intended for owners who want a standard platform they can customize.
