Colt ~ Huntsman ~ .22 LR

The Colt Huntsman is a classic semi-automatic rimfire pistol chambered in .22LR, produced by Colt's Manufacturing Company from 1955 to 1977. Derived from John Browning's iconic designs, it was introduced as a budget-friendly alternative to the upscale Colt Woodsman series. To offer a more economical price point, the Huntsman streamlined its design by featuring fixed or drift-adjustable sights, a European-style heel magazine release, and omitting a last-round bolt hold-open mechanism. Despite these simplified components, the pistol retains an all-steel construction, exceptional natural balance, and a remarkably crisp single-action trigger. Today, it remains highly regarded by collectors and enthusiasts for its traditional American craftsmanship, minimal recoil, and superb inherent accuracy. This pistol is in excellent condition.
