This monolithic upper features an uninterrupted full-length top rail that free-floats Colt’s heavy 16" chrome-lined, CAGE code–marked IAR barrel, designed for durability and sustained fire. A Colt-designed heat sink enhances heat dissipation during extended firing, while the gas-block-mounted fixed front sight post and Matech flip-up rear sight provide reliable iron sight capability. The assembly includes a charging handle and full-auto bolt carrier group, a “C” marked Colt upper receiver, and an A2 flash hider installed at the muzzle. For optimal performance and reliability, use with an H2 or H3 buffer is recommended.
