Originally the Army Special, it was renamed in 1927 to target police, featuring fixed sights, a 6-shot cylinder, checkered grips, and a high-polish blue finish, becoming an iconic service revolver used by agencies like the NYPD, LAPD, and even chosen by the FBI as their first service handgun in 1934. CONDITION: Good. 60%. The blueing has a dep bonze patina. Edge wear present and a drag line on the cylinder. The grips show wear, more towards the butt. The lock up is Good.
