Colt Police Positive 38 Special Double Action Revolver 1922

The Colt Police Positive is a small‑frame double‑action revolver produced by Colt from 1907 to 1947 and known for its "Positive Lock" internal safety system. This example is from 1922. The Colt Police Positive was designed primarily for law‑enforcement use. It features a six‑shot cylinder, clockwise rotation, and Colt's Positive Lock hammer‑block safety, which allowed safe carry with all chambers loaded. The Colt Police Positive remains a significant early‑20th‑century law‑enforcement revolver valued today for its historical importance, mechanical quality, and role in Colt's D‑frame lineage. This example is in great shape for it's age. Grips are very good and only slight finish wear on muzzle end of the barrel.
