It is chambered in .357 Magnum and also accommodates .38 Special, giving the buyer two supported cartridge options within the same revolver. The walnut grip carries the Colt medallion and adds a traditional wood accent to the stainless frame. An adjustable rear target sight and user-interchangeable front sight make the sight arrangement a meaningful part of the Python's configuration.
