Description
The Colt Python Stainless is a six-shot double-action revolver chambered in 357 Magnum and 38 Special, built on a stainless steel frame with a bead blast finish. It is intended for target shooting and hunting, with a red ramp front sight and adjustable rear sight to support precise sight alignment.
The 6-inch barrel has a 1-in-14 rate of twist and an overall length of 11.5 inches. The revolver weighs 2.88 pounds (46 ounces), giving it a steady shooting platform. Black Hogue grips are fitted as standard.
Because the revolver chambers 38 Special, it can be fired with that lighter cartridge as well as the more powerful 357 Magnum. Ammunition and accessories are sold separately.
