Description
The CVA Cascade Varmint Hunter is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .204 Ruger, built for varmint and predator hunting such as coyote calling and prairie dog work. It uses a heavy-contour barrel intended to support consistent accuracy over long strings of fire.
The rifle has a 20-inch threaded barrel with a 5/8x24 thread pattern and a 1:9 twist rate, a steel receiver, and a synthetic stock with an adjustable comb and length-of-pull spacer. A 20 MOA Picatinny rail is included for mounting optics, and the overall length is 42 inches. It weighs 8.7 pounds. The magazine is a detachable box holding 10 rounds, and the trigger is adjustable from 2 to 4 pounds.
The receiver and barrel are finished in Flat Dark Earth Cerakote, and the stock uses a Kryptek Highlander camo finish. The rifle ships without iron sights.
