Crimson Trace Laserguard Ruger LCP Red Laser 5mW Black

The Crimson Trace Laserguard for the Ruger LCP is a red laser sight that mounts over the trigger guard of compatible pistols. It is designed for use on the Ruger LCP, excluding the Gen II LCP model, and is intended to project an aiming point for close-range sighting.

The unit is made of polymer with a black finish and weighs 3.04 ounces. Crimson Trace describes the Laserguard as producing a 1/2 inch dot at 50 feet from a class IIIa diode laser rated at 5 mW. Activation uses the company's Instinctive Activation design, which turns the laser on when the firearm is naturally gripped.

The Laserguard installs over the trigger guard in a matter of minutes, requiring no gunsmithing. Depending on the package selected, it may include a pocket holster of non-rigid nylon or an inside-the-waistband holster designed for the pistol and Laserguard combination.
