Description
The CRKT S.P.E.W. is a compact fixed blade knife with a Wharncliffe-style blade and a black G-10 handle, intended for everyday carry and general cutting tasks in outdoor and household settings. The blade is a plain edge with a bead blasted black finish and is made from 5Cr15MoV stainless steel.
The knife has an overall length of 6.25 inches and weighs 1.8 ounces, which keeps it light enough for neck carry. The handle is G-10 and is designed to be gripped with the first two fingers on the handle and the last two wrapped around the included cord fob for added control.
The S.P.E.W. was designed by Alan Folts, a custom knife maker and instructor based in Melbourne, Florida.
