CVA Muzzleloading Brass Cleaning Jag 45 Caliber

CVA Cleaning Jag Features The CVA Cleaning Jag is machined from solid brass and threaded with a 10-32 fitting allowing it to attach directly to a standard cleaning rod for fast simple bore maintenance. Brass construction is a deliberate choice for cleaning accessories since the softer metal will not scratch or wear down the rifling inside a muzzleloader s bore the way a harder steel tool might over repeated use. Sized specifically for .45 caliber muzzleloaders this jag holds a cleaning patch firmly in place so solvent and patch material can scrub powder fouling and residue from the bore effectively. Regular use of a properly sized jag is one of the simplest ways to extend the service life and maintain the accuracy of any muzzleloading rifle. This jag is part of CVA s lineup of ramrod accessories designed to pair with cleaning rods already in a shooter s maintenance kit rather than requiring a whole new cleaning system. Because black powder and muzzleloading propellants leave heavier more corrosive fouling than standard smokeless ammunition a dedicated cleaning jag sized to the bore is an essential tool rather than an optional accessory. The compact size of this jag makes it easy to store in a range bag or cleaning kit alongside patches solvent and other maintenance tools. For any .45 caliber muzzleloader owner this brass cleaning jag is a small investment that pays off in a longer-lasting more accurate rifle.
