Based on the full-size Model 75 military sidearm, the CZ 75 Compact Semi-Auto Pistol delivers reliable operation in a smaller, lighter handgun for concealed carry use. The 75 Compact features a steel alloy frame, and a slightly shorter barrel and frame. The compact pistol still uses double-stack magazines for maximum firepower. The pistol's excellent ergonomics provides unsurpassed ease of handling. The 75 utilizes a single-/double-action, hammer-fired mechanism, with tilt barrel, short recoil operation. A manual thumb safety blocks the firing pin, allowing the pistol to be carried "cocked and locked" with the hammer cocked and the safety engaged.
