Description
The Daniel Defense DD4 RIII is a semi-automatic AR-15 style rifle built around a fully ambidextrous lower receiver, allowing the bolt catch, safety selector, magazine release and GRIP-N-RIP charging handle to be operated from either side without moving the dominant hand from the grip. It is a lighter version of the DDM4 platform for right- and left-handed shooters.
The rifle is chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and 223 Remington with a 16-inch Cold Hammer Forged barrel in Government Profile, a 1:7 twist and a flash suppressor. A mid-length gas system is used for smoother recoil impulse. The 12.50-inch RIS III handguard features M-LOK attachment points and Picatinny rail, and the receiver is 7075-T6 aluminum with a black hard-coat anodized finish. The rifle ships with a 30-round capacity and a six-position synthetic stock with SoftTouch overmolding.
