Description
The Dead Air KeyMo Flash Hider is a muzzle device for the FN SCAR 17 chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO and 308 Winchester. It reduces muzzle flash and serves as the mounting interface for KeyMo suppressors, allowing the suppressor to be attached and removed quickly.
The device is machined from 4140 HT alloy steel with a black nitride finish and threads onto a 5/8-24 muzzle. Its overall length is 2.7 inches. Its tines are mass shifted and of equal length, a design intended to keep the flash hider from producing a ping sound. Compatible suppressors include the Sandman Series and KeyMo-equipped models, and the KeyMicro-equipped Wolfman.
