The Blast Shroud mounts over existing Dead Air muzzle devices (or can thread on directly with DA471). It diverts the bright flash and annoying concussion forward of the muzzle, creating a much more pleasant shooting environment for the operator and everyone around him. Gone are the days of cursing and lethal stares by those shooting nearby. Dead Air Blast Shrouds are ideal on unsuppressed Short Barrel Rifles and Pistol Caliber Carbines. LINEAR COMPENSATIONThe Dead Air Blast Shroud reduces muzzle rise to a minimum in order to maintain sight picture for faster follow-up shots. MUZZLE EXTENSIONOn Short-Barrels, the Dead Air Blast Shroud places the muzzle further away from the shooter’s support hand, thus reducing the chance of a hand covering the muzzle. MODULAR ARCHITECTUREThe parts of the Dead Air Blast Shrouds are interchangeable with other Dead Air Accessories and Suppressors. Other configurations on different applications are easily obtainable.
