In its Deviant Hunter action, Defiance Machine developed what it considers to be the ultimate hunting-rifle action, which is machined from 416 stainless steel complete with an integrated scope base with a narrowed center that allows for easy top-loading of the magazine. The action features a single scope-ring slot in the rear of the receiver and four slots at the front of the receiver.
