Description
The DeSantis Thumb Break Scabbard is an outside-the-waistband leather holster built for a 1911-pattern pistol with a 5-inch barrel and a rail. It is cut for right-handed draw and holds the firearm high with a thumb-break retention strap and a tension device for a secure fit.
The holster is made from black leather and fits 45 ACP 1911 pistols. Its belt loops are 1 3/4 inches wide, and this listing describes the three-slot version of the design.
Some variants have two belt slots and omit the tension device. Lined and basketweave finishes are made to order and may require up to four weeks for delivery.
