Desert Tech WLVRN Tungsten 5.56 16 Threaded Barrel 30-Rounds

Desert Tech WLVRN Features The Desert Tech WLVRN is built around an all-new integrated receiver design a significant departure from previous MDR platforms while maintaining a familiar manual of arms for existing Desert Tech shooters. This new design borrows the barrel mounting and clamping mechanism of the SRS and HTI precision rifle family machined integrally into the receiver which significantly increases upper receiver stiffness. Desert Tech reports this improves accuracy by up to 30 percent compared to earlier designs. The gas piston operating system keeps fouling away from critical internal components supporting more reliable cycling across extended shooting sessions. Chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 16 inch black Melonite finished barrel and 1:7 twist rate the WLVRN feeds from standard AR15/M4 pattern magazines including the Magpul PMAG included with the rifle. A flash hider caps the 1/2x28 threaded muzzle and the Tungsten Cerakote receiver finish pairs with a black polymer chassis and grip for a durable ambidextrous platform. An integrated Picatinny rail runs the length of the receiver for optics mounting while M-LOK slots on the handguard provide accessory attachment points. At 7.43 pounds and a compact 26 inch overall length the WLVRN delivers a full-size 5.56 platform in a significantly shorter bullpup package complete with a maintenance tool and user manual.
