This rifle scope mount is a one-piece mount that is 67% lighter than similar mounts and features no moving parts between the firearm and scope. This mount has 4 times the threads and precision socket-head cap screws for absolute strength and security and is designed to absorb shock and stand up to temperature extremes. Compatible with Remington 700, 721, 722, and the Bergara Premier and B14. Made in USA.Right-hand mount fits right-hand firearms and left-hand mounts fit left-hand firearms. MOA Mounts are tapered down on front for long-range shooting. Height will be about .03a ^2 lower on front ring than a standard mount.Base screws are 6-48 X 1/4a ^2 long. Ring screws are 6-40 X 5/8a ^2 long. Both use a 7/64a ^2 Allen wrench. Some of the .338 Lapua receivers have been modified at the factory and have larger base screws. The size of them is 8-40 and will use a 9/64 Allen wrench. Check your gun and see because the mount will have to be modified. Choose Model 700 (8-40 screws) if your gun uses the larger 8-40 screws.Long action - Outside to outside of rings is 4.62a ^2 for standard ring mounts. Standard rings are .63a ^2 wide and have 2 ring screws per ring. Tactical rings are .80a ^2 wide and have 4 ring screws per ring. 4 Hole to hole spacing dimensions are .86a ^2, 4.48a ^2, .60a ^2. Height of mounts from top of receiver to centerline of scope tube is 1.23a ^2.
