DPMS DP-15 Features The DPMS DP-15 runs a full-auto profile bolt carrier group with a shot-peened mil-spec Carpenter No. 158 steel bolt and the gas key is hardened to USGI specifications and staked per mil-spec for long-term reliability. The 10.5 chrome moly vanadium barrel wears a phosphate finish and a 1:7 twist rate suited to a wide range of 5.56 bullet weights feeding through an M4 barrel extension and carbine-length gas system. An F-marked front sight base and A2-style flash hider finish the muzzle end while the forged 7075-T6 upper includes a forward assist and dust cover for dependable operation in the field. The single-stage DPMS fire control group delivers a consistent predictable trigger pull shot after shot. The forged 7075-T6 lower is hard coat anodized and fitted with a DPMS CAR-style adjustable pistol brace on a 6-position mil-spec buffer tube letting the shooter tailor the length of pull to their build and stance. A detachable A2 carry handle rides atop the upper for classic iron-sight aiming and the M4-pattern handguard with heat shields keeps the barrel protected while managing heat during extended strings of fire.
