The Model 1873 Dutch Service Revolver, commonly known as the "Old Model" was a massive, double-action sidearm that served as the primary handgun for the Dutch military for over 70 years. One of the longest-serving military revolvers in history, it remained in official use from 1873 through 1945. It saw service during the German invasion of the Netherlands in World War II. It notably lacks a built-in ejector rod; spent casings were typically removed using a separate "T-tool" or screwdriver.
