The Ed Brown 1911 Government 9mm magazine is a replacement magazine for 1911-platform pistols chambered in 9mm Luger. It holds nine rounds in a stainless steel body with a silver stainless finish and is intended for use in full-size Government and Commander frames.
The body is heat treated, and the feed lips are smoothly fully machined. The magazine uses tempered springs, has round-count witness holes so the number of rounds loaded can be seen, and includes an extended bumper pad. Capacity is 9 rounds.
Compatibility depends on grip length. If the grips on your 1911 measure 4 inches long, it is a Government or Commander length grip. If they measure 3-1/2 inches, the pistol is an Officer or Defender length grip and this magazine is not listed for that size.
