Ed Brown 1911 Government Commander Magazine 45 ACP 7-Round Black Nitride

The Ed Brown 1911 Government/Commander magazine is a 7-round replacement magazine for 1911-pattern pistols chambered in .45 ACP. It is intended for use in full-size Government and Commander length grip frames.

The magazine is made of stainless steel with a black nitride finish. Its body is heat treated, and the feed lips are smoothly fully machined. It uses tempered springs, has round-count witness holes so the number of rounds loaded can be seen, and includes an extended bumper pad.

Fit depends on grip length. A 1911 with 4-inch grips is a Government/Commander length grip and takes this magazine. Frames with 3-1/2-inch grips are Officer/Defender length and do not.
