Eddystone Model 1917 Rifle, 24″ Barrel

The Eddystone U.S. Model of 1917 Rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield with a 24" barrel represents a highly modified configuration of America's primary World War I combat rifle. Built by the Eddystone Arsenal in Pennsylvania (a massive subsidiary of Remington), the original factory-standard M1917 was famous for its exceptionally long, heavy 26-inch barrel.
