Description

The EGW Savage bases are designed to be compatible with any long action flat back Savage rifle featuring an ejection port, as well as Stevens long actions. This mount is specifically engineered to fit receivers with flat rears and firearms that do not include an AccuTrigger. For Savage models equipped with an AccuTrigger, our round back mount, available separately, is required. The mount is ambidextrous, featuring a bevel on both sides. EGW advises verifying the hole spacing on your receiver to ensure compatibility with the published dimensions. The picatinny cross slots extend the full-length of the rail, providing flexibility for mounting scope rings and other accessories. The central channel reduces the mount's overall mass and often does not interfere with the use of factory iron sights. EGW's one-piece scope mounts are ideal for both hunters and tactical shooters. These mounts are precision-machined in-house using advanced machining centers. Post-machining, the mounts undergo tumbling, sandblasting and type III anodizing to ensure long-lasting durability. For installation, EGW recommends applying 20 in-lb of torque and a drop of blue Loctite (sold separately). Recommendations for use are as follows - a 0 MOA mount is suitable for shooting distances of 0 yd - 500 yd, while a 20 MOA mount is recommended for 500 yd - 1000 yd. When zeroing a rifle with a 20 MOA mount, EGW suggests zeroing at 200 yd. All components, from the mounting screws and wrench to the packaging, are manufactured in the USA. The EGW Savage long action flat back HD picatinny scope mount is designed for compatibility with Savage models 110, 111, 112, 114, 116, and Stevens Model 200, featuring flat rear receivers The design includes a 20 MOA elevation and full-length picatinny cross slots, ensuring ambidextrous use without obstructing factory iron sights Constructed from anodized aluminum for enhanced durability, the mount and all its components, including the mounting hardware, are manufactured in the USA
