Description

To remove the original mount, first locate the screw positioned at the front beneath the handguard. The handguard must be detached, followed by the removal of this screw, before the original mount can be taken off. This process may be challenging, therefore, exercise caution during the removal of the original mount and the installation of the EGW mount. EGW strongly advises that their products be installed by a competent and qualified gunsmith. Note that metric screws are available only with hex heads. It is recommended to measure the hole spacing on your receiver to ensure compatibility with the dimensions provided by EGW. The picatinny cross slots extend the entire length of the rail, offering flexibility for mounting scope rings and other accessories. EGW's one-piece scope mounts are ideal for both hunters and tactical shooters. This mount is a picatinny-style base, compatible with both picatinny and weaver scope rings. EGW manufactures these mounts in-house using their machining centers. Post-machining, the mounts undergo tumbling, sandblasting and type III anodizing to ensure long-lasting durability. For shooting distances of 500 yd - 1000 yd, a 20 MOA mount is recommended. When zeroing your rifle with a 20 MOA mount, EGW suggests zeroing at 200 yd. For installation, EGW recommends applying 20 in-lb of torque and a drop of blue Loctite (sold separately). All components, from the mounting screws and wrench to the packaging, are manufactured in the USA. To install the EGW Tikka T3X Tac A1 picatinny scope mount, remove the handguard and a screw, professional installation by a gunsmith is recommended Featuring picatinny cross slots, this mount offers versatile scope ring and accessory installation, and boasts a durable Type III anodized finish For optimal long-range shooting (500 - 1000 yd), apply a 20 MOA elevation, zero the rifle at 200 yd using 20 in-lb of torque and a drop of blue loctite
