EGW Heavy Duty Scope Base 0 MOA Browning X-Bolt Long Action

EGW Guns Heavy Duty Scope Base Features The EGW Heavy Duty Scope Base is machined from ultra-rigid extruded 7075 T6 aluminum giving it the strength to hold zero under recoil while keeping added weight to a minimum. Its Picatinny slot-and-rail spacing allows for fast simple changes to eye relief and gives shooters broad flexibility in scope selection. The full-width cross-slots are gauged to MIL-STD 1913 specifications within 0.002 inches ensuring a precise repeatable fit for any compliant scope ring. This base is drilled specifically to match the factory scope mount holes on the Browning X-Bolt receiver so no drilling or tapping is needed at installation. The Heavy Duty version sits 0.100 inches lower than EGW s Lightweight mounts keeping the optic closer to the bore centerline for improved practical accuracy. This zero MOA base is intended for shooters who do not need elevation built into the mount and prefer to make adjustments through the scope s own turrets. Each base includes socket head Torx screws and a wrench and EGW recommends 20 inch-pounds of torque along with a drip of blue threadlocker for a secure long-lasting installation. The result is a direct no-gunsmithing upgrade path to a full-length Picatinny rail on a Browning X-Bolt long action.
