EGW Guns Sight Mount for Kimber 1911 Trijicon RMR

EGW Sight Mount Features The EGW Sight Mount replaces the adjustable rear sight on the Kimber 1911 and provides a direct interface for a Trijicon RMR or Holosun HS507C red dot sight. It ships with two 6-32 flat head screws and a 6-32 x 3/16 set screw and installation requires only a 5/64-inch allen wrench. EGW recommends applying blue Loctite to the mounting screws and torquing them to 15 in-lbs to keep the optic securely zeroed through the recoil of a 1911-pattern pistol. Because the mount uses the factory dovetail cut the original rear sight can be reinstalled at any time if the optic is later removed. Machined from 7075 aluminum and finished in a matte black hardcoat the mount is built to hold up to repeated recoil cycles on a full-size 1911 platform. At 1.78 inches long and 1.1 inches wide it adds minimal bulk to the slide while providing a stable optic mounting surface. EGW notes the mount also fits the Baby Desert Eagle post-2006 and EAA Witness Elite Match though it does not fit Rock Island 1911 pistols.
