Large flange eliminates the sharp edges and step of conventional bushings. 1911 fits Govt. Melt Bushings require a two piece guide rod set-up to disassemble your gun. The spring will need to be taken out of the back as well. The flange on the melt bushing is too large to allow a spring plug to pull out from the front. Mfg: Egw SPECS: Machined, Blue, matte finish. Govt.(1911) and .701" (17.8mm) O.D. Flange is .915" (23.24mm) wide and .129" thick. May require gunsmith fitting.
