Smith and Wesson M&P 22 Sight Mount Features The EGW Sight Mount for the Smith and Wesson M&P 22 installs in place of the factory rear sight and gives the pistol a direct mounting point for a Trijicon RMR or Holosun HS507C red dot. Two 6-32 flat head screws and a 6-32 x 3/16 set screw are included and installation only requires a 5/64-inch allen wrench so the swap can be done at home in a few minutes. EGW recommends applying blue Loctite to the mounting screws and torquing them to 15 in-lbs to keep the optic secure through repeated firing. Because the mount uses the existing dovetail interface the process is fully reversible if the shooter wants to return to iron sights. Machined from 7075 aluminum and finished in a durable matte black hardcoat the mount is built to withstand the recoil cycle of a rimfire pistol without loosening or wearing prematurely.
