Description
The Elite Tactical Systems Omega is a 30-round polymer magazine for 9mm Luger pistols built on the Glock platform. Its translucent body lets the shooter see the remaining round count and cartridge type at a glance.
The magazine uses hardened steel feedlips and a polymer frame that wraps the body for strength. Its floorplate is designed for an easy grip when drawing the magazine from a pouch. The manufacturer states the Omega weighs about 50 percent less than an all-steel magazine. The finish is a Teflon-infused coating that the manufacturer describes as resistant to corrosion and friction.
The magazine fits Glock 17, 18, 19, 19X, 26, 34 and 45 pistols, and the listing states compatibility with Gen 1 through Gen 5 models. It includes a red follower and locking plate, and base plates are interchangeable with the brand's 9mm double-stack magazines.
