E.M.F. HF357CH434NMUI: One of the most popular models that Pietta produces for E.M.F. is the 1873 Great Western II which pays homage to the numerous and notorious gunfighters of the Old West. A cowboy\'s preferred sidearm of the wild west was the Colt Single-Action Army dubbed the Peacemaker. It was in the hands of lawmen and outlaws alike. It was popular with ranchers and barkeeps and came in many different styles and configurations. The 1873 GWII model was E.M.F.\'s way of allowing you to transport back in time and get a feel for what shooting an old Colt would be like. It is perfect for a fun day at the range or for testing your mettle in a cowboy action match. Pietta\'s 1873 Great Western II Californian guns feature hammer-forged steel barrels and frames that are drop forged, and then C.N.C. machined. Additionally, they have wider rear and larger front sights for faster sight acquisition. Like the original Colts, these \"period correct\" revolvers have a floating firing pin in the hammer and casehardened frames. This combination of traditional aesthetics with the best modern technology makes the Great Western II the most sought after, durable, and reliable single action revolver on the market. This particular Deluxe Californian model features a blued barrel, cylinder, trigger guard, color case hardened frame, and a set of Pietta\'s ultra ivory grips.
